Wow. What a difference a day makes!!!!
In the meantime, mafia troops have been out on the field for weeks and months, exposed to freezing temperatures and, most likely, poor rations. They’ve been away from family and friends, girlfriends, wives, children, warm homes, decent food, maybe even half-way decent barracks. They’ve been grumbling, no doubt, asking why they are being forced to be where they are, why they might have to fight an enemy that isn’t attacking or shooting or doing anything aggressive. Furthermore, they might see their officers being housed in hotels or rented apartments while they must house in tents or who knows what.
I seriously doubt that the mafia troops will be in top form if the order to attack should come, or that their moral will be anything but good. These are not to be ignored, important facts that could wreak havoc with mafia plans.
