The Ukrainian artist Marharyta Polovinko, who served as a volunteer medic in the Ukrainian Army, was killed by russians on April 8.
She was 31 years old.
Ukraine is losing its brightest citizens, while russia sends criminals and prisoners as cannon fodder.
This is a deeply unjust war — and yet, most countries continue to offer only scraps, just enough to keep Ukraine from collapsing entirely.

People continue to mourn in Kryvyi Rih.
This week a russian missile killed 20 Ukrainians, including 9 children:

• Herman, 9 years old
• Alina, 15 years old
• Danylo, 15 years old
• Mykyta, 15 years old
• Kostiantyn, 16 years old
• Nikita, 17 years old
This is the highest number of children killed at once in a single russian strike.
As parents bury their children, the world has already forgotten. There is no news coverage. We have, tragically, become complacent in the face of these war crimes.
To quote Dietrich Bonhoeffer: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

9 children killed by a Ruzzian rocket while they were at the playground. It was not a battlefield, it was a normal Ukrainian city away from the frontlines. Ukraine could not shoot this rocket down as we are running out of air defence rockets.
And Putin is flushing your proposal down the toilet. You get no peace by limiting Ukraine, you just get more Ukrainians killed by Russians. And you are just bleating in response that you “had a good conversation” with Russians.
Your attempts to please Vladimir Putin did this. This is what you laughing at when you are making jokes about Zelensky and pushing him to “make a deal.” Empathy is weakness, right, Elon? Why not make money from those Ukrainian peasants while they are fighting the maniac regime for survival, right, JD Vance? Let’s play cards! Peace has never been so close, Donald, really?

The U.S. is withdrawing troops from a key Ukraine aid hub in Poland.
U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command has announced the relocation of American military personnel and equipment from Poland’s Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport.
It seems that everything is being set up for the U.S. to hand Ukraine over to russia through so-called “capitulation negotiations.”
