“Ukraine is just a stage”: Russians admitted that they plan to move further into Europe, – ex-prisoner

The Russians do not hide that their goal is to conquer as much territory as possible.

Russian army officers are convinced that after the capture of Ukraine, Russia will go on to conquer other European countries . This was stated by human rights activist Maksym Butkevych, who spent more than two years in Russian captivity, writes NV .

“We were told by the military, Russian officers, even after they were captured, that Ukraine was just a stage. And when, they say, this stage is completed, Russia will have the most combat-ready, battle-hardened army in Europe, and probably in Eurasia. And they will be so ready to go further that no one will be able to resist them,” he said.

According to Butkevych, Russia has built a system in the occupied territories where the principle of “truth prevails in force” and “force prevails in truth.” In his opinion, Russia wants to create such a reality, where no agreements are worth anything if they become disadvantageous to one of the parties, not only in Ukraine, but also in international relations.

“I’m afraid that this is not only a Russian-Ukrainian situation, but an international situation that many of our international partners still don’t fully understand. And that’s sad — I would really hate to see them wake up one morning and suddenly discover that they’re trying to bring this world to them,” Butkevych said.

They might wake up one day and come to the realisation that they have been spoonfed BS, if they live that long.

They would be if they were still alive.
