Ukraine will allow foreign arms manufacturers to test their latest weapons on the battlefield in the war that Russia continues to wage, according to a report by the state-funded Ukrainian platform Brave1, Reuters reports.

Thus, the “Testing in Ukraine” scheme is being launched, according to which companies can send their developments to Ukraine, conduct online training on their use, and then wait for reports on the use of these weapons directly on the battlefield.

“This gives us an understanding of what technologies are available. This gives companies an understanding of what really works on the front lines,” Brave1’s head of investor relations Artem Moroz explained in an interview with the agency.

According to him, this scheme is generating a lot of interest. However, he did not name the companies that have volunteered to participate in the project and refused to disclose details about the functioning of the scheme.

Moroz added that the Brave1 platform has compiled a list of military technologies it would like to test. One of the priorities is air defense.

“We have a list of priorities. One of them is air defense: new air defense systems, drone interceptors, artificial intelligence systems, all solutions against glide bombs,” he explained.

Reuters also noted that Ukraine’s priorities include electronic profiling systems on the ground, advanced fire control systems, or AI guidance to improve the accuracy of howitzers.

New weapons in the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine

The war in Ukraine was an impetus for the development of new means. In particular, unmanned boats appeared. These naval drones brought quite significant results, because with their help many Russian ships and the Crimean bridge were hit. Moreover, naval drones “lit up” in operations where Russian aviation was hit .

Other drones are also being actively produced, both strike and reconnaissance. Ukraine is also developing a ballistic missile , interceptor drones , and other means.
