Ukrainian company DeepStrikeTech has developed a new multi-purpose strike drone “Batyar”, capable of covering a distance of over 800 km. Visually, the UAV is similar to the Russian-Iranian “Shahed”.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to “Military”.

It is noted that initially “Batyar” was developed as a kamikaze drone for deep strikes, but over time its capabilities were expanded.
The drone can be used as a decoy, a bomber, or a front-line kamikaze drone — depending on the installed payload and software.
The 60-kilogram drone with a gasoline engine in the long-range version carries an 18-kg warhead.
One of the development goals was to create a lightweight drone that could be launched from a catapult or from a vehicle — without prepared sites or special equipment.
This makes the drone as mobile as possible and suitable for combat conditions.
The company claims that the Batyar is capable of maintaining a set course even in the event of damage, in particular during a dive towards a target.
Externally, the “Batyar” resembles the Russian-Iranian “Shahed”, but the similarity is only visual.
The aerodynamic characteristics of the drone were independently calculated by Ukrainian engineers using Western technical documentation.
