Ukrainian defense forces have begun employing new tactics to attack Russian oil refineries, noted Sergei Auslender.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces’ new strike on the Kstovsky Oil Refinery confirmed the transition to a new long-range strike tactic.
Israeli military journalist Sergei Auslender wrote about this in his blog, Dialog.UA reports.
The Ukrainians have repeated the tactics they used during the attack on the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery. Multiple fires are being detected at the site, not just one or two as was previously the case.
“Judging by the strikes on refineries in recent days (Novokuibyshevsky, Kstovo, Ufa, etc.), the Ukrainians have changed tactics. Now, instead of targeting just one, even a critical, component of the refinery, they’re trying to destroy the entire facility, inflicting as much damage as possible,” Auslender wrote.
He noted that the new tactics have a strong effect not only physically, but also media-wise.
Dialog.UA previously reported that Ukraine launched a massive attack on the Kstovo oil refinery, causing at least five fires and “oil rain” at the site.
It was also reported that the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery was covered in black smoke: the attacked plant was shown from space.

I’m sure there’s more to it than just trying to cause more widespread destruction. That’s okay, they should not divulge any secrets.
At any rate, I like what I’ve been seeing and I want to see more.
