Ukraine disappointed about Germany’s decision to support Nord Stream 2 – Klitschko

Ukraine is disappointed that the German federal government supports the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

According to Ukrinform, he wrote about this on Facebook.

“Friends! I said in a comment to the German newspaper Bild that Ukraine is disappointed that the German federal government supports Nord Stream 2. In addition, it opposes the supply of defensive weapons to Ukraine and attempts to block its supply, for example, by Estonia, which is ready to do so,” Klitschko said.

According to him, such refusal to provide assistance looks like a betrayal of friends in a dramatic situation for Ukraine – when Russian troops threaten Ukraine along its borders. Klitschko noted that Ukraine needs weapons to defend itself, rather than attack someone.

“So the question arises: on whose side is the German government today? On the side of freedom, which means on the side of Ukraine? Or on the side of the aggressor? And I am convinced that we need a clear signal from the most powerful country in Europe,” Klitschko said.

  1. “So the question arises: on whose side is the German government today? On the side of freedom, which means on the side of Ukraine? Or on the side of the aggressor? And I am convinced that we need a clear signal from the most powerful country in Europe,” Klitschko said.

Well Vitali, I’m not sure you even need to answer that question. It’s been painfully obvious from the day the fat cow, let Siemens go unpunished for supplying goods to Crimea.

  2. Germany is an industrial machine. It has no roots, friends or culture. Money and power is their religion. I doubt this will change anytime soon, but remain open to be proved wrong.

    • Also highly coveted by today’s krauts are Africans, Muslims, fags, transvestites and unabashed cowardice.

  3. Maybe if Ukraine stops buying Russian gas then others might contemplate stopping NS2.

And for those who do not know, the gas what Ukraine now buy is Russian gas resold at a much higher price by the Europeans to Ukraine, Germany buys it for $300 and then sells it for $1000 to Ukraine.

    • Considering the spot price for gas is now close to $2000, that makes it a good deal for Ukraine. Besides, having no gas contract with Russia, is one less hand around Ukraine’s neck.

  4. In that case Germany charges $2000 as they are reselling that Russian gas to Ukraine, in other words, Ukraine is still financing Putins army.

And Germany is making a hefty profit from it too.

    • I don’t really care what Germany needs or is doing, i have an Empire to protect and i will do so, even if it kills me. Germany will run dry day one Putin’s doped idiots cross the red line.

  5. For those who hadn’t seen it sooner, Germany was no friend of Ukraine since the days of the fat Stasi cow. It looks like things aren’t changing with the new (old) government. Maybe the cow is pulling the strings from behind the scenes?
