Ukraine did not warn the US about its intention to conduct a military operation in the Kursk region , but there is “nothing unusual” about this. This was reported at a briefing by the US State Department (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) spokesman Matthew Miller. He is quoted by the Voice of America.
“It is not unusual for Ukraine not to tell us their exact tactics before they implement them. This is a war they are waging. We provide them with equipment and advice. But when it comes to day-to-day tactics, sometimes we communicate with them, sometimes we don’t. And it is appropriate that they make those decisions themselves,” the spokesman said.
At the same time, Miller claims that the US policy on using American weapons to strike Russian territory has not changed, but Ukraine’s current actions, according to him, do not contradict Washington’s policy.

ZERO chance the US military intelligence failed to notice the buildup, by which even Russian mil-bloggers were growing increasingly alarmed, and to anticipate an operation. There is also ZERO chance the Ukrainians were going to tell the US because some Republicans are Russian tools, and the Republicans who aren’t did not purge the ones that are before it was too late.
