On the night of Wednesday, December 17, there was unrest again in the territory of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation. At least two regions – Saratov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai – were attacked by UAVs.
One of the drone targets was an oil refinery. Russians complained about this in local forums, posting footage of explosions and air defense attempts to hit the targets.
Saratov region
The first strike drones arrived in the Saratov region on the evening of December 16. Explosions were reported in Saratov and neighboring Engels, where the Russian Aerospace Forces airbase is located.
Krasnodar Territory
In this region, drones attacked the refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban at night. Locals, commenting on the attack, reported the flight of a large number of UAVs.
After the explosions and drone hits, smoke rose, and a fire broke out at the refinery.
As OBOZ.UA reported, air raid sirens went off in Belgorod, Russia, late on the evening of December 14, followed by a loud explosion. The flight had previously been scheduled to take place at the Luch gas turbine thermal power plant.
