As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out on an area of ​​1,500 square meters. The fire has been localized and is being extinguished. More than 80 rescuers and 20 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service have been involved in eliminating the consequences.

“According to preliminary data, two people were injured (acute stress reaction): a woman born in 1955 and a child born in 2015,” the State Emergency Service noted.

As reported by Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov , the enemy launched attack drones into the city early in the morning. According to preliminary information, as a result of the UAV attack, residential buildings were damaged and four passenger cars were set on fire. There was no information about the dead or injured.

At the same time, people are writing on social networks that the attack resulted in fires near multi-story buildings. Windows were broken in apartments, household property was damaged, cars parked near residential high-rises caught fire. It is also said that the attack damaged a residential complex – a flash on the 17th-18th floor.

Updated 8.30. Later, Trukhanov clarified that three people were already known to have been injured in Odessa, and another person was rescued from a blocked apartment.

The blast wave blew out windows. City services are working on the scene, cleaning up the aftermath of the attack. “We are setting up an operational headquarters where applications for financial assistance can be submitted and materials for temporary covering of the holes,” the mayor noted.
