On the night of April 23, a series of explosions rocked the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. According to preliminary information, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the city of Kstovo.

As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise, according to monitoring Telegram channels.

An air raid alert was issued in the Nizhny Novgorod region on the evening of April 22 at around 11:40 p.m. Then, after some time, explosions began to ring out in various areas.

The Exilenova+ channel also writes that in addition to the oil depot in the Nizhny Novgorod region, UAVs attacked the Gorky oil pumping station. This is an intermediate station that pumps oil from the previous section of the pipeline and pumps it further through the pipeline (often in the Druzhba system) towards Belarus/Europe or to the next refinery node.
