Ukraine’s Defense Forces are gaining a foothold within the de-occupied areas and making preparations to liberate further Ukrainian settlements.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Talking of the situation on the front in general, it can be described as preparations for the liberation of our territories and gaining a foothold within the areas we have already de-occupied. Stabilization measures are underway there. These are very serious measures taken by all defense and security forces,” Maliar noted.
A reminder that, as of October 24, 2022, the Ukrainian military liberated more than 90 settlements from Russian invaders in the Kherson region.
