A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of space flight safety and the provision of space situational awareness services and information has been signed between the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the US Department of Defense Space Command .
This was reported in the Office of the President of Ukraine .
The document expands the development of Ukrainian-American cooperation in a new direction and corresponds to Ukraine’s participation in the implementation of the US-led Artemis space program.
The Memorandum also opens up additional opportunities for Ukraine in the context of its intentions to prepare its own launch vehicle for future commercial launches.
Cooperation will facilitate the renewal of old or the conclusion of new bilateral agreements between Ukraine and the United States in the space sphere.
We will remind that earlier the head of NASA Bill Nelson accepted the invitation of the president Vladimir Zelensky to visit Ukraine .
