According to Zelensky, the agreement is truly comprehensive.

The UK and Ukraine have signed a 100-year partnership agreement. As reported by a UNIAN correspondent, the agreement was signed in Kyiv by President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The Ukrainian leader called it a new level of relations between the countries:

“We are confident in the independence of our state, and this is something that Ukrainians will never give up. We are confident in our European partners, and this is what strengthens Ukraine, Britain, and our entire Euro-Atlantic space. This is the basis for interaction between our peoples for generations to come.”

According to Zelensky, the agreement is truly comprehensive. It includes security, defense, economic and technological elements, as well as cooperation in the information and cultural spheres.

“Everything that allows us not only to respond to the threats that we have now, but also to see how our defense potential, our potential for active action, will grow,” the head of state said.
