Estonian defense company Milrem Robotics has confirmed that it will supply Ukraine with the largest-ever fleet of its TheMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), according to Defence Industry Europe on September 3.
The TheMIS system, already tested in frontline conditions, is designed to support infantry with cargo transport, casualty evacuation, and remote weapon stations. It can carry up to 1,200 kilograms and operate for up to 15 hours, depending on configuration. The tracked platform has seen combat deployment in Ukraine, where it was used for logistics and battlefield support roles.
“Ukraine will receive a record number of TheMIS units, which have proven their effectiveness under combat conditions,” Milrem Robotics said in a statement. The company did not disclose the exact figure for security reasons, but emphasized that this will be the largest single delivery of TheMIS vehicles to any customer to date.
