The aggressor country Russia has again complained about an attack by unknown UAVs. On the night of Monday, July 28, attacks on electrical substations in the Belgorod, Oryol and Kursk regions were recorded.

Russian propaganda resources on Telegram write about this. The Russians again blamed Ukraine for the attack.

Belgorod region

Explosions thundered in the settlement of Tomarovka in the Yakovlevsky urban district at about 00:00. Local media reported that drones attacked an electrical substation.

A fire started at the substation, and the power went out in the village itself.

The regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov did not comment on the incident. Meanwhile, photos and videos of the damaged facility were published online.

Oryol Region

But the governor of the Oryol region of the aggressor country, unlike his colleague from Belgorod region, officially acknowledged that there is damage to the electrical substation in the region. On his social media page, Andrey Klychkov said that in Glazunovsky district, allegedly, two UAVs were shot down by the air defense forces of the occupiers.

However, according to his statement, “there is damage at the local power station.”

“Friends, two enemy UAVs were shot down tonight in the Glazunovsky district. There were no casualties, but there was damage to the local power station. Emergency services are dealing with the aftermath of the air attack, and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene,” the Russian governor said.

Kursk region

Kursk Region Governor Alexey Smirnov reported that 12 “Ukrainian UAVs” were allegedly shot down over the region. Explosions thundered in different areas of the region all night long – in Oboyansky, Medvensky, Solntsevsky and Pristensky districts.

According to preliminary data, there is an attack on the electrical substation.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of the Polevaya oil depot in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation on the night of July 28. The strike on another strategic facility was carried out by the Defense Forces.

“According to intelligence information, enemy air defense systems were operating in the area where the facility was located. Powerful explosions and a fire were subsequently recorded, most likely in containers with petroleum products,” the General Staff noted.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on July 24, the Russian Kursk was visited by “bavovna” . Explosions were heard in the city. Local authorities reported an attack by unknown drones.

  1. Very nice job, Ukraine!
It’s never a bad thing to force-feed the same medicine to your enemy as he’s been feeding you. Bomber Harris would approve.

    • Maybe a good omen that the presumptive replacement for Biden shares the great Sir Arthur’s family name?!
