U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had held telephone conversations regarding ending the war in Ukraine and announced new ones.
The American leader told reporters about this during a broadcast hosted by the White House.
According to the White House, for the first time, Ukraine and russia are ready to negotiate.
“I held phone calls today, and there will be more tomorrow. They will meet on Monday and Tuesday,” the U.S. President emphasized.
He once again called a potential agreement a “very large-scale deal.”
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz held a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. This was announced by Berlin government spokesperson Stefan Cornelius.
According to him, the main topic of the politicians’ conversation was the war in Ukraine. Both Merz and Trump agree that hostilities must end as soon as possible.

My message to ruSSia:
If you want to keep occupied territories, achieved through mass-murder of Ukrainians, Ukraine must become a member of NATO, to make sure Ukraine will never again experience a nightmare like this. Ukraine lost an entire generation and its dignity. Without NATO membership Ukraine would get NOTHING! If American politicians would finally make clear that WE are the world’s power #1 and not flatter putin because of oil and gas, it would change the game. Putin works by spreading fear, but at least in Dixie, we don’t know what that is. BTW, thanx to Texas, Kansas and Carolina for supporting the Dems. The GOP needs to become credible again, and that will only work through pressure.
