On the night of September 13, explosions were heard in Tatarstan and the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. In Nizhny Kamsk, according to preliminary data, the target of the attack was a local oil refinery.
Another refinery may have been hit in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. The Telegram channels Supernova + and Exilenova+ reported on the explosions in the Russian Federation.
Explosions in Nizhny Kamsk
Residents of Nizhny Kamsk in Tatarstan complained about explosions and posted videos of them that night. Air defenses were deployed in the city, but they did not always seem to be successful.
The “boys” caused real hysteria among some of the “operators” .
Supernova+ claims that a refinery was attacked in the city. Apparently, this refers to the Nizhnekamsk oil refining complex, which includes the Taneko refinery. The city also houses the TAIF-NK and Nizhnekamskneftekhim refineries.
Each of these enterprises is important for the Russian fuel infrastructure. Therefore, they have repeatedly become targets of long-range drones.
As of 7 a.m., Exilenova+ was more cautious and did not name possible targets for the attack.
There were no official statements from the Russian authorities about the consequences of the attack.
Explosions in Slavyansk-on-Kuban
It was also noisy at night in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
There are fewer videos from there online, they mostly capture the sounds of explosions.
According to Supernova +, a thermal power plant and a refinery were allegedly attacked there, and the channel claims that a fire broke out at the latter.
Supernova+ supports its claim with a screenshot from a Russian public forum.
The independent Russian publication ASTRA conducted an OSINT analysis of footage from the network – and also concluded that an oil refinery is on fire in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.
“In videos circulating online, you can see a glow rising above the refinery. There was no official report of damage to the refinery. The last time the refinery in Slavyansk was attacked was in June, when a fire also broke out there,” the report states.
The Slavyansky Refinery, which could have been the target of the attack, is one of the largest independent oil refineries in Russia. The plant produces, among other things, aviation kerosene, fuel oil, vacuum gas oil, and stable gas gasoline.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before, on September 12, Ukraine struck two chemical industry enterprises in the Perm and Samara regions.
And the day before, after a drone attack near Saratov, Russia, the Ozon warehouse burned to the ground.
Isn’t that just wonderful? Burning two large refineries will make the mafia fuel problem even worse than it already is.
I can’t wait to see the first images of long lines at gas stations during sub freezing temperatures. What fun that will be for the cockroaches.
