Two people who were injured in today’s Russian attack on gas stations in Kyiv have died in hospital.

A damaged street with debris and remnants from an explosion, vehicles passing by, and smoke rising in the background.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“There are already two people killed in the morning attack on Kyiv gas stations. Another injured person has died in hospital,” the mayor said.

According to him, eight people were injured in the morning attack on gas stations in the capital. Six are currently receiving inpatient treatment at Kyiv’s medical facilities.

On September 11, Russian forces attacked two gas stations in Kyiv – one on the left bank and one on the right bank of the Dnipro River.

Five people were initially reported injured, including a rescuer. Klitschko later reported that six people had been injured and one killed.
