Over Kiev on the evening of March 7, two Russian planes were shot down. The Ukrainian military shot down two enemy aircraft within one hour.

The first aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces was shot down over Kiev at 20:30, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said on Facebook .

Zaluzhny noted the successful work of the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The second enemy aircraft was shot down at 21:20 in the vicinity of Kyiv. It is reported that the enemy aircraft was eliminated in a dogfight.

As UNIAN reported earlier, during the 11 days of the war, enemy Russian troops lost 46 planes and 68 helicopters.
