Some European countries are loyal to Russia, although it has unleashed a full-scale war against Ukraine.

European Council President Donald Tusk shamed EU countries overly concerned about the consequences of sanctions against Russia with a picture of a girl from Ukraine with a gun.

The corresponding message appeared on Tusk’s Twitter page .

“Just don’t tell her, please, that tougher sanctions will cost Europe too much,” he told his colleagues in the European Union.

From the very beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the European Union, the United States and other developed countries began to impose sanctions against the aggressor state.

This includes a ban on the use of airspace, disconnection from SWIFT, confiscation of the property of oligarchs, and so on.

As UNIAN previously reported, the EU is now preparing a new package of sanctions. It could potentially include an embargo on Russian oil imports, which Ukraine has long demanded. This solution is not supported in Germany and Hungary .

  1. This war will NOT go down in history as the West’s shining hour. Despite leaders across the West padding themselves on their backs, they will be seen and described for what they are, pathetic jellyfish.
