According to a media report, Turkey wants to freeze the war in Ukraine for more than a decade with a new peace initiative. The plan, which was launched with the support of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has already been submitted to Kyiv and Moscow, wrote the pro-Kremlin newspaper “Novaya Gazeta. Europa” on Thursday, citing its own sources.
The most important points of the document are as follows: The USA and Russia undertake not to use nuclear weapons under any circumstances and to return to the New Start nuclear disarmament treaty. The conflict in Ukraine will be frozen on the current front line. In 2040, Ukraine will then decide on its future foreign policy course in a referendum – until then, it will not join NATO. At the same time, referendums will also be held under international control in the territories occupied by Russia. The warring parties exchange all prisoners for each other. Russia does not oppose Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
A major peace conference is planned in Switzerland in June. According to the newspaper, the Turkish initiative is unlikely to be accepted. The plan differs significantly from Kyiv’s demands, which insist on the withdrawal of Russian troops from their own country. Moscow, which already occupies around a fifth of the neighboring country, has also recently made further territorial demands of Ukraine after improving its own situation on the front.

It reads more like the putler “peace plan.”
Which itself is little or no different from the Trumpkov “peace plan” or the Kissinger “peace plan.”
The difference being that Kissinger, before he died, had the good grace to admit that his plan was bullshit and that Ukraine should have all its legal borders honoured.
Look at the fucking size of Russia. It is itself an empire, consisting already of more than 90% thieved lands.
The Swiss Times is not listed as an official newspaper in Switzerland btw.

Forget Turkey. It plays no positive role in all of this.
