Nearly every word in Tucker’s narrative below is a falsehood. That is nothing new. Notice, however, that just days after Russian clerics described the full scale invasion of Ukraine as a Holy War, Tucker joins them in his basic argument: Those who disagree with the Kremlin narrative embraced and advanced to hundreds of millions by Tucker can’t be Christians – they are anathema.

Tucker Carlson has risen to power for many reasons. The first is a response to genuine problems in the American system, including actual abuses by the Left and mainstream media. Partisan extremism and misbehavior is not limited to Right or Left or D’s or R’s. It’s an American problem. The second reason is because it is not uncommon to find that the very people who claim to address a problem, become a problem far bigger than the original. They justify breaking rules, shoddy tactics and even rank dishonesty, in light of the greater good of destroying their enemies. They learn to pander to the prejudices and fear of the masses and adopt incendiary language designed to manipulate them. They become so drunk on social media power that they begin to think that something becomes a fact, merely because they say so. Research is no longer needed, when the intuition of a conspiratorialist is on display. They reject propositional truth in favor of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” theology. In the end, they become far worse than the enemy they claim to hate.

This how in modern America the most uninformed and intellectually dishonest individuals come to dominate the minds of exhausted Americans who simply want a hero to tell them what to think and to reinforce their prejudices. They hated the mainstream media, so now they turn to a new slave master to tell them how to think.

Future generations will remember Tucker and Marjorie as two individuals who claimed to love their country while dedicating their lives to communicating utter detestation for it. They will be remembered as individuals who lied without restraint, because they believed that by saying something, it therefore was true. They will be known as the same kind of religious persecutors one can find in the Kremlin and Moscow Patriarchate – the type that justify mass murder while claiming that any who reject their narrative are de facto false Christians against whom Holy War is justified.
