Donald Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff commented on the future status of the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia , calling them “the biggest problem in this conflict.”
“I think the biggest problem in this conflict is Crimea and four regions – Donbas, Luhansk and two others. They are Russian-speaking, there were referendums in which the vast majority of people expressed a desire to be under Russian leadership. I think this is a key issue in the conflict,” he said in an interview with Tucker Carlson .
Witkoff added that this is a priority issue that needs to be addressed. He said it has always been a problem, but “nobody wants to talk about it.”
“It’s like the elephant in the room. The elephant in the room is the constitutional issues in Ukraine about what they can give up when it comes to giving up territories. The Russians de facto control these territories. The question is, will the world recognize that these are Russian territories? Will Zelensky survive politically if he recognizes this? That is the central issue in the conflict,” he said.

No mention of what mafia land is willing to give up. If this scum is a neutral negotiator, I don’t want to see a biased one. If mafia land want these oblasts, let them fight for them. They might take them in 50 or 60 years time.
This constant talk about what Ukraine should surrender without calling for the aggressor to surrender is gut-wrenching sickening. The Trump administration’s methods makes people with morals and dignity vomit.
Wasn’t it the orange clown that said Crimea is russian because they speak russian? We can see where this is going, and it’s time for Europe to step in, show the US the way out and see where that takes us. Trump and Co have no interest in any fair end to the war, and I would bet my house that Trump has been offered a lot of money to throw Ukraine under the bus.
