He believes Trump’s statement should be taken seriously.

Donald Trump is indeed absolutely ready to abandon Europe if he becomes president of the United States of America again.
This was stated by retired Lieutenant General, former commander of the United States troops in Europe Ben Hodges. In his opinion, Trump’s hostility to the North Atlantic Alliance has nothing to do with the fact that NATO members do not spend enough on defense, writes Insider .
“Trump hates alliances. He hates commitment, where he has to answer for something. The mobster that he is, he doesn’t want anyone to limit his options. He doesn’t care about moral obligations. He’s willing to throw it all away,” he says. Hodges.
The general believes that Trump’s statements should not be underestimated. “We would be unwise not to take what he says at face value. During his last term, he had people around him who were able to hold certain things back, at least for a while. He won’t make that mistake again “Hodges added.

I wouldn’t put it past the orange baboon to ruin the friendship between us and Europe. He has new friends, after all, in moscow, peking, pyongyang, and tehran.
Today, in the West, it seems to me that the military are the most pragmatic and reasonable people, it’s crazy! 🙂 Maybe we should leave them in charge for a while…
“During his last term, he had people around him who were able to hold certain things back, at least for a while. He won’t make that mistake again”
This last remark should really make us think…
I heard John Bolton, once short term National Security Advisor for Trump, that Trump wasn’t kidding. He wanted to destroy NATO.
