Former US Ambassador to the Russian Federation Michael McFaul reported that the US administration has offered Russia conditions for a ceasefire in Ukraine. He wrote about this on the social network X.
According to him, the conditions in question are the preservation of the occupied territories and Ukraine’s non-membership in NATO.
In addition, there are two more conditions, according to the former ambassador. These are the absence of American troops in Ukraine, the withdrawal of American troops from Europe, including from frontline states, and the easing of sanctions.
McFaul noted that there has been no reaction from Russian leader Vladimir Putin yet.
