Keith Kellogg, the US president’s former special envoy for Ukraine, has said that if Ukraine “gets through” this winter, it will have the advantage in the war rather than Russia.

Details: During the discussion, Kellogg said he is confident that Russia will not win the war in Ukraine.
He said Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin has “sacrificed Russia so much” that he is now looking for a way to “get out of this thing because he knows he’s not going to end up winning this war”.
Quote: “I understand it’s a harsh winter. I understand what’s happening to Kyiv. I understand the temperatures. But I really do believe if Ukraine gets through this winter – January, February, and you get into March and April – the advantage accrues to you. To you, Ukraine, not to Russia.”
More details: Kellogg believes the problem is that psychologically, Putin has reached a point where he just cannot let go.
He said that if Putin did let go, he would be admitting it was a defeat and that everything he had done had been a failure.

- Earlier, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry published a list of the energy assistance provided to Ukraine by its partners in January.
- It was also reported that Kyiv will receive two combined mini heat and power plants from Germany, while the Netherlands will allocate an additional €23 million in energy assistance to Ukraine.
- Denmark is providing €20 million worth of additional support to Ukraine’s energy sector to help Ukrainians get through the winter.

This could already be the case if all of Europe would finally grow some spines and do the right things, and I mean ALL, not just the ones who’ve been going their fair share or more.
I wish it to be so. Earlier I said that Europe is growing las cojones but with Trump backing off his crap about Greenland and Rutte sucking up to Trump, I fear that Europe to go to sleep once again.

However, Cornflake is no friend of Ukraine since he was an architect of the appalling defacto surrender document of 2024, entitled “America First.”

The White House has stopped aid to Ukraine all on its own. And Europe is weak and disunited in this respect. So, you are blathering nonsense.
We should give credit where credit is due, Scradge. If Kellogg changed his mind about Ukraine, so be it.
