Threats by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President J.D. Vance to withdraw the United States from talks to end the war in Ukraine indicate “disappointment” in the White House, said former national security adviser to US President Donald Trump John Bolton in a comment to the Public .
According to him, these comments should be taken seriously.
“I think it shows frustration that this has turned out to be more difficult to resolve than they expected. I don’t know if they’re surprised, but at least they’re annoyed,” Bolton said.
He believes that the ceasefire in the Russian-Ukrainian war is not good for Ukraine:

Bolton suggested that Rubio may have canceled his visit to London on April 23 because Steve Witkoff is conducting direct negotiations with Russia.
“Rubio was going to talk to his colleagues, the foreign ministers. But we also know that maybe on Thursday, maybe on Friday, Steve Witkoff is going to go to Moscow to meet with Putin. Trump’s former adviser believes that Witkoff was manipulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during three previous meetings between them:

Trump has done fuck all to help end this war. He wants Ukraine to capitulate because of his hatred of Zelensky and Ukraine in general.
