Trump blackmails Zelensky with arms supplies in an attempt to hold elections in Ukraine.
The United States does not plan to resume aid supplies to Ukraine until President Volodymyr Zelensky resigns.
“Donald Trump is blackmailing Zelensky with weapons supplies, seeking his resignation as president and the holding of elections in Ukraine,” BILD writes .
As noted in the article, Politico previously wrote that American officials had already met with Zelensky’s political opponents, Yulia Tymoshenko and Petro Poroshenko, to discuss possible elections with them.
At the same time, political scientist Thomas Jaeger suggested in an interview with BILD that Trump wants to settle scores with Zelensky for refusing to provide dirt on Hunter Biden in 2020. Putin is also not satisfied with the candidacy of Zelensky, who has been challenging him for more than three years.
