The American leader noted that it will not be possible to ignore Russia in geopolitical terms.

US President Donald Trump said Russia has “the biggest piece of land” and can’t be ignored, making the statement during an interview with Breitbart News.

“We have to deal with Russia. They have the biggest piece of land, bigger than China today. They have 11 time zones. You can fly across 11 time zones from one side to the other. They have very valuable land. Now we are making a deal with Ukraine on minerals, so at least we can say we got our money back and we can do something. We will get $350 billion. Biden gave away money like he was a fool,” Trump said.

Trump also touched on the US relationship with India. Asked about his recent summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Trump said he has a “very good relationship” with India, but India has tariffs on the US that are too high.

“I have a very good relationship with India, but the only problem I have with India is that they are one of the highest tariff countries in the world. I believe they will probably reduce those tariffs substantially, but on April 2 we will be charging them the same tariffs that they are charging us,” he said.

Asked about the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, an agreement he signed with the US during Modi’s visit to the US, Trump did not mention China but said it was a “group of great nations” that had come together “to stand up to other countries that seek to hurt us on trade.”

“We have a powerful group of partners in trade. Again, we cannot allow those partners to treat us badly, however. In many ways, frankly, we work better with our enemies than with our friends. Those that would not be so friendly to us, in some cases, treat us better than those that should be friendly, such as the European Union, which treats us terribly on trade,” he said.
