It is important to say and show that Ukraine wants peace, the diplomat noted.

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, really wants the Russian-Ukrainian war to end, but he doesn’t care where the border of Russian occupation will be.

This opinion was expressed by former US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker in an interview with  NV . According to him, the American president “does not like to see young people dying every day.”

“He just wants it to end. At the same time, he doesn’t care where the occupation line is, whether it’s recognized or not. He just doesn’t want to deal with it anymore,” the diplomat explained.

According to Volker, the current American administration is interested in how to stop the war, prevent the next one, and do it so that the Americans “don’t pay for it forever,” and Europe’s security is ensured by Europe itself.

He noted that both Ukraine and Russia can answer the above questions when Moscow offers its “answers.” That is why it is important to say and show that Ukraine wants peace, the diplomat noted.

“Ukraine is ready to pay its price. You have a connection with the United States. You don’t want to be a burden on American taxpayers, but you want to be a partner with the United States. These are all ways of saying things that Trump and his team will appreciate,” Kurt Volker stated.

  1. Trump is too busy receiving $400 miliion planes from terrorists than supporting peace loving people.
