For the first time since returning to office, Donald Trump will use his Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) to send weapons to Ukraine. The aid package is expected to be worth approximately $300 million.
Although the final composition of the package has not yet been determined, sources indicate that it may include Patriot defensive missiles and medium-range offensive missiles.
Until now, the Trump administration had only supplied Ukraine with weapons approved by his predecessor, Joe Biden. The Presidential Drawdown Authority is a mechanism that allows the president to urgently use weapons stockpiles to assist allies. Currently, $3.86 billion remains available for Ukraine under this fund.
The publication notes that the weapons could appear on the front lines within a few days, as American stockpiles are located in Europe.

As Zaluzhny already said before he got fired, Ukraine can’t retake all occupied territories. Trump wants to achieve a ceasefire, which is urgently needed. By supplying arms through the backdoor he wants to keep room for negotiations to end this horror. You all can keep clapping on each others asses and claim Putin will be defeated and shit, but i joined this ghost train for full 11 years, to no avail. Did Biden enable Ukraine to push the invaders out when he still held a majority in both chambers? Are Dems allover the US protesting in the streets for more support for Ukraine? We all want a ceasefire except Putler. Stopping aid to Ukraine is not going to stop putler, it will only encourage him. Is it a coincidence that more civilians have been murdered in Ukraine since Trump took over?
