Trump then stated that he gets along well with Xi. He also seemed to be positive about the Chinese state apparatus, because Trump argued: “He’s a brilliant man. He controls 1.4 billion people with an iron fist. He makes people like Biden look like babies.”Trump was also positive about other leaders who have some authoritarian tendencies. For example, he said: “They’re all smart, tough. They love their country […] we need someone who can protect us. And Orbán was right: we need someone who can protect us.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if the orange one has a picture of Adolf Hitler hanging in his mansion. He also loved his country and controlled people with an iron fist.
We know from his ex-wife that he slept with a volume of Hitler’s speeches by his bed.
