US President Donald Trump has said that all federal funding will be cut off to any college, school or university in the country where illegal protests are allowed. Furthermore, agitators will be jailed and, if they are foreigners, sent back to their home countries forever.
The head of the White House reported this on his page on the social network Truth Social .
“All federal funding will be cut off to any college, school or university that allows illegal protests. Protesters will be jailed and/or permanently sent back to their country of origin. American students will be permanently expelled from school or, depending on the crime, arrested. No masks! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he wrote.
Earlier, the Trump administration launched an investigation into Columbia University’s federal grants and contracts in connection with reports that the school failed to address anti-Semitism during pro-Palestinian student protests.
