US President Donald Trump has said that he personally asked Russian leader Vladimir Putin to stop attacks on Ukraine for a week due to the freezing cold weather.

He added that this was because of “the cold, extreme cold”.
Trump did not specify whether he and Putin had a telephone call or whether their communication took place in some other form.
He also did not specify when this happened and when the “week” was supposed to start.
A new wave of freezing cold weather is expected to hit Ukraine on Friday, with temperatures in the north plunging to almost -30 degrees Celsius, while hundreds of apartment buildings in Kyiv still have no heating since Russia’s latest attacks and the situation in the energy sector remains difficult overall.

I only believe what i see. If it works, there might be some progress. On the other side, as long as Moscow demands from Ukraine to give up the part of Donbas the AFU still controls, i don’t see any breakthrough.
