Putin says Trump administration will “bring order” to Europe.
US President Donald Trump has reposted a news story with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declaring that Europe will “stand at the feet of its master.”
The corresponding message appeared on the American president’s page in his social network Truth Social. Trump did not comment on the link to CNBC , where the message appeared.
The news shared by Trump said Kremlin ruler Putin said Europe would quickly be “at the feet of the master” after the US president imposed tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, a move that sent global markets tumbling and alarmed the US’s European allies.

“I assure you: Trump, with his character, with his persistence, he will quickly restore order there. And all of them, you will see – it will happen quickly, soon – they will all be standing at the feet of the master and wagging their tails a little. Everything will fall into place,” the Russian dictator said.
The Russian leader did not specify what exactly he meant. CNBC notes that Moscow had previously expressed hope that its relations with the US could improve under Trump’s presidency.
