Trump commented rather vaguely on the Russian strike on Sumy, noting that the strike was a mistake.

US President Donald Trump , commenting on the strike on Sumy, said he was told that Russia “made a mistake.”

“I think it was terrible. And I was told they made a mistake. But I think it’s terrible,” he told reporters.

Asked to explain what he meant when he said Russia made a “mistake,” Trump replied, “I think it was – look, you ask them.” However, Trump did not specify who exactly he was talking about, writes  CNN .

Recall that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously commented on the strike on Sumy . He stated that the US expresses its deepest condolences to the victims of the horrific Russian missile strike on Sumy.

“This is a tragic reminder of why President Trump and his administration are spending so much time and effort trying to end this war and achieve a lasting peace,” he said.

For their part, European leaders have not reacted so restrainedly to this blow. In their emotional statements, they condemned the Russians for the murder of Ukrainian civilians on a major Orthodox holiday – Palm Sunday. In particular, the Czech Foreign Minister did not shy away from his statements and directly stated that Russia is ruled by murderers.

Strike on Sumy

Yesterday morning, Russian occupiers hit the center of Sumy with cluster munitions. According to the latest reports, 34 people, including two children, were killed in the attack. More than a hundred people were injured.

Budanov revealed some details of Russia’s “godless” strike on Sumy. According to him, it is already known that this criminal strike was carried out by Russian units of the 112th and 448th missile brigades from the territory of the Voronezh (Liska) and Kursk (Lezhenka) regions.
