US president said his government is trying to determine if virus came from Chinese laboratory in Wuhan
US President Donald Trump has promised to hold China accountable if Beijing’s guilt in spreading the coronavirus pandemic is proven. Trump said this on Saturday during a daily briefing at the White House, Reuters reports.
“This (coronavirus epidemic – Ed.) Could have been stopped in China before it began, but it has not been done, and now the whole world is suffering because of this,” Trump said.
The coronavirus epidemic could not be stopped in time due to a mistake by the Chinese authorities, the American leader suggested. However, he also did not rule out that this could be done deliberately.
“If it was a mistake, a mistake is a mistake. But if they deliberately carried responsibility for it, that’s what I mean, then there must be consequences,” the American president said.
He did not specify what actions the United States could take regarding China.
Trump also raised the issue of a virology laboratory in Wuhan. Fox News reported this week that it was likely that coronavirus was developed at the facility as part of China’s efforts to demonstrate its ability to identify and fight viruses.
The head of the US White House said his government is trying to determine if the virus came from a Chinese laboratory.
Back in February, the Wuhan State Institute of Virology denied rumors that the virus could be artificially synthesized in one of its laboratories or get out of control beyond its borders.
As we reported before, US President Donald Trump threatens to impose sanctions on countries that refuse or time out with the evacuation of their citizens from his country.

Makes no difference if it was spread deliberately or not, the Chinks are responsible for every death through this bat virus.
They are still in full responsible!
Agreed. Whether or not they purposefully manufactured the virus, they purposefully let it spread across the world for China’s benefit. It is often said that the cover up is worse than the crime.
‘Batwoman’ Shi Zhengli and her colleagues at the Wuhan Institute of Virology emphasised the importance of conducting investigations into the viruses from bats. She will know exactly what happened. She spent 13 years in batcaves collecting filthy viruses for no good reason.
She could have just gone to the nearest market, she would have collected enough viruses for a thousand years of research.
She should have gone to a turkish Döner joint in Germany, she would have found all viruses that exist on earth, including some extraterrestial ones, in one single place.
I wouldn’t walk into any Muslim restaurant to begin with.
Sadly i did. A few months ago. I was hungry and all other restaurants were closed, except for their Döner takeaway. It tasted awful, i almost threw up after i finished it. Needed some vodka to clean my inner guts. Next time i prefer to starve…
You probably have done many times without knowing! The ‘Star of India’ will usually turn out to be owned, run and staffed by Bengalis!
Here in Ukraine we don’t have Indian or Chinese restaurants, but Japanese food is popular. I left the UK before the muslim invasion, although I did frequent Chinese restaurants in the UK.
Yeah. And the shithouse in those places should require full hazmat gear.
Nice vision. But in the worst case the world will collapse and only China and NK will survive. Was this the plan? I don’t know…
The US rely on China too much with trade for any realistic sanctions to be applied. Corporations in the West sold their souls to China for profit, now they are reaping the rewards.
It remains to be seen , but I would not underestimate the anger of the American people.
A vast majority are furious with the behaviour of the Chinese government, not only with this virus . This may the catalyst needed to unite the country and if this happens , history has shown that we can accomplish almost anything.
We MUST see a return of industries back into our own nations. We cannot go on like we have. China will grow into a true monster if we don’t and this regardless what the bat-virus situation will turn out to be. I have a small bit of hope that this pandemic will wake a few people up.
But, I fear that in the end, profits will win over common sense.
Is there anything manufactured by large US companies in the US now? Or are they all based in China?
China made stuff was good for people with a low budget, and so was Wal*Mart. Those who could not afford expensive US, French, Scandinavian, Japanese or German brands, had cheap alternatives. That was the plan, beneficial for all involved. It was never the plan to shift our brands to China, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. But it did happen, and everything got out of balance. Same with refugees. During the war in Yugoslavia many refugees came, when the war was over they had to go back. Now it’s once in never out. Crazy.
Trump should pressure Apple to withdraw from China. I can think of at least one country that is pro-America, has a tech-savvy workforce and does not require huge wages. How about it Trump?!
Here is a rather long list of US/International companies based in China, who either produce part or 100% of their products there. The list is not a complete one either.

With the benefit of hindsight, it was the integration of the economies of western technocracy and that of a cruel communist peasant superstate that caused all this misery. After all, it was well known when Nixon and others opened China up that Mao was one of the worse monsters of all time, yet we all wanted to do business with people who had little or no regard for human life.
The Han Chinese are horrible ultra-nationalists who regard themselves as superior to all others. Remind you of someone?!
