The president used the song that brought the artist fame after the release of the film “Top Gun.”

American singer Kenny Loggins has strongly condemned the use of his iconic song “Danger Zone” in a synthetically generated video released by US President Donald Trump .

As Mirror notes , the outrage was sparked by a post on the Truth Social platform, which depicts a politician wearing a crown piloting a military jet and “bombing” protesters with excrement to the sound of the hit song from the film “Top Gun.” The video appeared amid the massive “No Kings” protests, in which approximately seven million Americans demonstrated against restrictions on civil liberties.

The artist called for music not to be used as a tool for division, as Americans must now seek ways to unite, not oppose:

“This is an unauthorized use of my song ‘Danger Zone.’ No one asked for my consent—and even if they had, I would not have given it. I demand that my performance be removed from this video immediately.”

Kenny Loggins is not the first musician to protest the use of his compositions by politicians. Previously, Ozzy Osbourne, Steven Tyler, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Brandon Urie, and ABBA have also publicly prohibited Trump from using their music in his campaigns.

  1. This sort of video would be childish even if it had been created by a junior high school student, but that it comes from an adult makes it downright brainless. And to think that it was the POTUS makes it stupidly outrageous and scandalous. This underlines my stance that this gangster is NOT my president and that he should get impeached and removed from office.

    • The singer was furious. The whole of the US should have been furious, yet not one MSM released a story about this attack on free speech.
