US President-elect Donald Trump plans to issue more than 25 executive orders and directives on his inauguration day, Reuters reports , citing sources.

According to the agency’s interlocutors, Trump openly declared to his team that he intended to make a “big splash” with his first-day orders.

The documents will concern migration legislation, as well as energy, education, etc. In particular, it is expected to strengthen migration measures and resume construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, as well as strengthen the border zone.

Also, according to the agency, Trump may increase oil and gas production in the country – a measure the politician announced in his election promises.

Before that, Trump also announced his intention “on day one” to pardon his supporters who stormed the Capitol in January 2021 because of disagreement with Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election.
