US President Donald Trump is spreading lies about Ukraine , and it looks like capitulation to Putin, Democratic US Senate member Richard Blumenthal said in a commentary to Fox News.
“What world is he living in? This is not only contrary to the facts and the truth, it is also utterly disgusting. It is a disgusting betrayal of a country that bled, fought and died for freedom,” he said.
Blumenthal emphasized that Ukrainians are defending not only their own freedom on the battlefield, but also American freedom, so Ukraine’s struggle “is our struggle.”
“The president’s capitulation is pathetic and weak,” the senator said.
