US President Donald Trump said he was concerned that Ukraine would need to amend its constitution to swap territories with Russia, he said during a press conference at the White House .
“What concerns me is that Zelensky has the right to go to war and kill everybody, but he needs constitutional permission to do a territorial swap,” Trump said.
The head of Washington assured that the exchange of territories between Ukraine and the Russian Federation will definitely take place. He added that the US will try to return part of the territories occupied by Russia back to Ukraine.
“Russia has occupied some important territories, we will try to return some of these territories to Ukraine,” Trump emphasized.
