US President Donald Trump has said that Russia’s war against Ukraine is a “drone war,” and drones are powerful and modern weapons.
He said this in an interview with the Pod Force One program , Censor.NET reports .
“Drones are a new thing. A new popular weapon. If you look at this terrible war between Russia and Ukraine that we are trying to stop, you will see that it is a drone war,” Trump noted.
According to him, drones have proven themselves to be “fast and smart” systems, and three years ago no one could have imagined that they would become so influential on the battlefield: “It’s amazing.”
“Who would have thought that a drone would be such a powerful weapon! But it replaces many other types of weapons, even airplanes,” Trump emphasized.
The American leader added that both Ukraine and Russia are actively using drones at a level “that no one thought was possible.”
