The US leader said Russia had “done a very good job” and was seeking to stop the war. “They want to stop the savagery that’s going on there. Their soldiers are dying there by the thousands every week. They’re not American soldiers, they’re mostly Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, although Korean soldiers too.”
