Trump Lost MORE Than Congress. Zelenskyy Isn’t Holding Back Anymore (video commentary)

Thank You for Standing With Ukraine https://ukrainesupport…

Washington is starting to turn on itself—and Ukraine is right in the middle of the consequences. U.S. senators are demanding answers about restrictions on Starlink and Starshield services for Ukraine, while President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivers a remarkably direct response to Elon Musk. Zelenskyy acknowledges what SpaceX has done for Ukraine, but he isn’t willing to excuse Musk’s comments about Russia’s invading troops. The bigger question is whether any billionaire should wield so much influence over communications that Ukrainian forces depend on.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is intensifying pressure on Russia’s energy infrastructure. A reported Ukrainian drone attack targets the massive Ryazan oil refinery, and the growing number of attacks on Russian oil and gas facilities tells a larger story. At the same time, the Financial Times reports that Russia agreed to supply Iran with 90 helicopter-mounted missile launchers, although their delivery has not been confirmed. So much for the notion that Moscow is sitting on the sidelines in the Middle East.

And the political turbulence in Washington is getting harder to ignore. Two Russian diesel tankers have changed course, raising serious questions about Donald Trump’s plan to import Russian fuel. Melania Trump hosts Ukrainian and Russian representatives following the Oleshky humanitarian operation, where Ukraine honors her contributions while the Kremlin delegation brings its own carefully chosen presentation. Then comes another development: reports that Secretary of State Marco Rubio could leave the Trump administration ahead of the 2028 presidential race—claims the administration denies.

From Zelenskyy’s increasingly direct language to the political fallout in Washington, I believe we’re witnessing a significant shift. The question is how quickly these changes will translate into meaningful decisions for Ukraine—and what Russia does next.
