Silicon Bites Ep425 | 2026-10-18 | Kompromat does not explain what we are seeing. A man who fears exposure would do the minimum required for his blackmailer to keep the secrets hidden. But Trump is now doing the maximum within his power to help Putin. This is alignment, this is partnership, infatuation even – a person willing to do whatever it takes for one of the world’s most malignant killers and autocrats to stay in power, sustain his evil war, and prevent Russia from collapsing. He is all in, and we see he is relishing in this open support for Putin, and abusive denigration of Ukraine and Zelenskyy. He is enjoying it, revelling in it, gaining sadistic pleasure from hurting what he perceives to be a weak and irrelevant country – but one he is constantly forced to focus on, to the detriment of his money-making schemes, grift and global extortion rackets.
