This will impact Ukraine’s ability to defend itself in the ongoing war.

All British intelligence agencies and military structures have received orders strictly prohibiting the transfer of US intelligence data , previously designated as “Rel UKR” (Releasable to Ukraine), writes the Daily Mail .

Even Australia and New Zealand have reportedly shared intelligence with Ukraine since the war began. However, the publication has learned that the US has now removed that top level of security clearance until further notice, which is likely to impact Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against the ongoing Russian offensive.

The ban affects such entities as the British government’s signals intelligence agency GCHQ, as well as intelligence units of the UK Ministry of Defence.

The move coincided with a formal US announcement to suspend military aid to Kyiv, further deepening the rift between the two allies as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sought to offer US President Donald Trump reconciliation .
