Trump leads Harris 50% to 39% on the question of who would handle Russia’s war in Ukraine better.

Donald Trump has a clear advantage over his rival in the US presidential election, Kamala Harris, on the issues of the war in Ukraine and the Middle East. According to a poll by The Wall Street Journal , more voters believe that Trump will lead the country better through both conflicts.

“Trump leads Harris, 50% to 39%, on who would better handle Russia’s war in Ukraine, and has a larger lead, 48% to 33%, on who would better handle the Israel-Hamas war “, – writes WSJ.

Trump’s leadership on both conflicts is partially supported by independent voters, with nearly half of them saying he would handle the war between Ukraine and Russia better, compared to about a third who preferred Harris. As for the war between Israel and Hamas, 43% of independent voters rated Trump as better, while 26% said the same about Harris, and the rest said neither.

At the same time, the poll found that foreign policy is not a priority for voters, with respondents still citing the economy as the most important factor when choosing a candidate, followed by immigration and border security.

The poll was conducted from Sept. 28 to Oct. 8 of 2,100 voters in seven states and has a margin of error of +/- 2.1 percentage points.
