US President-elect Donald Trump spoke with Putin on Thursday. It was their first phone conversation since Trump won the election.
This was reported by The Washington Post with reference to people familiar with this conversation. Trump advised the Kremlin ruler “not to escalate” the war in Ukraine, and also reminded him of the significant US military presence in Europe.
“The two men discussed the goal of peace on the European continent, and Trump expressed an interest in further talks to discuss ‘an early resolution to the war in Ukraine,'” some of the people said.

It appears putler took offence at this advice from Trump. He ordered his chief mouthpiece to threaten the US with nukes. I’m not sure this will go down too well in the US.
According to the newspaper, Trump has signaled privately that he would support a deal where Russia kept some captured territory, and during the call he briefly raised the issue of land, people familiar with the matter said.
during the call he briefly raised the issue of land………………..Ukraine sold down the river!
“Trump advised the Kremlin ruler “not to escalate” the war in Ukraine, and also reminded him of the significant US military presence in Europe.”
These should’ve been Biden’s words. Not only for the roaches not to escalate, but to remind the criminal that we have lots of troops in Europe.
The Kremlin has denied that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already called Donald Trump after his election victory. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismisses The Washington Post’s story as “pure fiction”.
According to Peskov, Putin has no concrete plans to call Trump. The Russian president said on Thursday that he was open to a phone conversation.
The Washington Post wrote, based on insiders, that Trump had asked not to escalate the war in Ukraine. The American election winner is also said to have indicated that he wanted to continue talks soon about a “quick solution to the war in Ukraine”.
“There was no conversation,” Peskov responds. He says that Russia will continue with the “special military operation” in Ukraine for the time being. According to the Kremlin spokesman, political leaders in Europe are still looking for a “strategic loss” for the Russians, but he also senses “nervousness” among European leaders about the election of Trump. The Republican is much more critical of financial and military aid to Ukraine than his predecessor Joe Biden.
