At the same time, the United States is disappointed that Ukraine has attacked ships carrying oil belonging to American companies in the Black Sea.

The President of the United States does not like seeing footage of Russia’s ballistic missile strikes on residential apartment buildings in Kyiv, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Breitbart News.
According to him, America is disappointed that Ukraine attacked oil tankers of American companies in the Black Sea, however, Washington is also disappointed by Russian attacks on Kyiv.
“The President (Trump) doesn’t like seeing footage of a ballistic missile hitting an apartment building in Kyiv, and as a result, innocent civilians are being destroyed. He doesn’t like it either. That’s why it’s so annoying to try to resolve this,” Rubio emphasized.
At the same time, Rubio acknowledged that the world’s energy crisis is caused by several factors.
The US Secretary of State does not believe that Ukraine deliberately attacked ships carrying oil belonging to American companies, although this is disappointing.
“And we already have a world facing an energy crisis because of what’s happening in the Strait of Hormuz, what’s happening in the Red Sea, and what’s happening in different places. We don’t need situations that escalate, and the disappointment is that despite the pleas, this has happened,” Rubio said.
Separately, the Secretary of State said that the lack of elections in Ukraine due to the war is not the main problem of the fighting.
“The topic of the election comes up, and I’m not saying it’s not relevant, but it’s not the key to why the war is going on,” Rubio noted.
